This retreat is all about improving your skills and deepening your connection with the Handpan. We will give you some tools to increase your own creativity and freedom for you to be able to constantly create new music.

We will be focused on playing structure. Giving awareness to each note, each stroke. To help you making every movement on your instrument meaningful.

This retreat is dedicated to the people who already own a handpan and wants to explore it further. For the person who wants to break through their own barrier and who no longer want to feel stuck again in their own playing style.

To achieve this goal. We, Flavio and Amado, will show you different rhythms, dexterity exercises, odd time signatures, dynamics, and more, to reach and rise your own creativity.

We will also organize jams during the evening (optional), to give everyone a chance to jam with the other participants. We will provide the right instruments and guide the group to make the jams simple and intuitive.

we believe that opening up to others through a jam is one of the best ways to develop our musical creativity. through the technical, rhythmic and melodic exchange that we are not used to doing alone. but it is also an open door to self-criticism, as a mirror effect that induces us to go back to the root of the essence of the music 

The event will take place in a beautiful old chalet, facing a blue lake and surrounded by mountains. the place is really unique, as it has been renovated especially to receive groups, the energy is high and perfect to dive deeply into your own self and to bring all the emotions and feeling needed to make this experience powerful, healthy and rewarding. Talking about healthy stuff, there is a sauna in the house!

The group is limited to 11 participants.

The retreat will be in english however Amado also speaks french and Flavio speaks german and spanish.

TIME TABLE 

It is important to us that we have a certain structure. We put a lot of intention in the course of the retreat, however things can flow and happen organicly and we are open to that in case we see that this is supporting the group experience. The time table is an orientation, which of course is needed, but not a rigid program. If necessary, breaks are also made that are not visible in the time table.

FRIDAY: -arrive from 18:00. -19:00 Dinner -Later: acclimating, jam, exchange, sauna.

SATURDAY: -07:30 Workout / yoga (Optional) -08:30 Breakfast -09:30 Introductory circle -12:00 Lunch -13:00 workshop -18:00 Dinner -19:00 Workshop (Optional) -From 21:00 Closing with sauna sessions. Free for everything

SUNDAY: -07:30 Workout / yoga (Optional) -08:30 Breakfast -09:30 Workshop -11:00 Free -12:00 Lunch -13:00 Workshop -18:00 Dinner -From 19:00 Closing with sauna sessions. Free for everything -21:00 People start leaving.

EATING

You are in good hands here. Martina and Alessio will prepare healthy and fine meals for us all week-end, 1 Friday night and 3 on Saturday and Sunday. SLEEPING

We have simple but cozy shared rooms. However, participant must take their own sleeping bag/blanket.

The retreat is taking place in a village close to Interlaken. You will get further information by applying.

YOUR INVESTMENT

This includes: -Food: 3 meals each saturday and Sunday plus 1 meal Friday night, healthy snacks all week-end. -2x overnight stay. -Cost for house rent and management. -12+ hours of workshop

AFTER APPLYING: We kindly ask you to send us a short video of you presenting yourself and playing on your instrument. It can be a 30s - 1 minute video. No pressure, it will help us to organise the workshop so that it is enjoyable and effective for everyone. Be as natural as possible
